I have a confession to make....

... I am cheating on you guys.

I have very recently started a new blog. I have decided that I am not passionate about weddings anymore, so instead of continuing on with this blog, I am starting a new one.

Currently my new blog is really focusing on my newest passion: running; although, I don't want it to stop there. It will not JUST be about running. I want this blog to get more personal. I want to share about my life as a married woman, my love for all things fashion related (even though I have no fashion sense what-so-ever), and every once in a while share a recipe that you can't live without. Who knows, maybe one day down the road, I will be able to share my pregnancy experiences with you too (NO, I am not pregnant now!).

I ultimately decided to make this move, to be honest, because I just don't have a passion for weddings anymore. Yes, it was fun. Yes, I am thrilled to be married. BUT, it just isn't me. I want people to get to know me. Instead of changing this blog around, I decided to start with a clean slate. I hope you guys understand. It isn't you, it is me.

I wasn't quite sure where I wanted to go with this blog when I first started it, so currently I am anonymous to my readers. I have, however, decided that I want people to know who I am. I am planning on sharing my name and opening up to everyone on Monday. Yep, it is the big day. I am really looking forward to it.

Are you interested in getting to know the real me? Then come join me at my new blog! Ultimately, I will be moving to my own domain, but that is still a work in progress. Until then, you can find me at

Take care until next time,

Awesome... now I am going to have that song stuck in my head all day. AND to be perfectly honest, that is the only part of the song I know, so THAT will be on repeat...

Me and My Gang...

Rascall Flatts reference anyone? I love me some good 'ol country music.

So, let's see... last time, we left off at my incredibly too close for comfort photos on the wedding day. After taking some photos, we all hopped in our cars and headed to Riverwalk Golf Course (the site of our ceremony and reception). The boys were supposed to show up soon, so my girls and I got to taking our pictures right away.

[Waiting while everyone got their bouquets]

[All of my girls (minus one flower girl who was too afraid of our photographer to take pictures haha) She warmed up to him later!!]

[My favorite bridesmaid shot]

[My sisters!!!! Can't you tell we are related?!]

[My adorable nieces (minus the one turkey)]

[My girls and I are ready to get the party started]

All of the photos are by our amazing photographer Paul @ Photography by Paul. If you are in San Diego and need a photographer, let me know and I will get you his info! He was SOOOO amazing!

Up next... my family!!!!

Is anyone out there still?

Hello blog world! Have you missed me?!

I know, I know, I know... I have completely neglected you all and I am terribly sorry for that. Will you ever forgive me?!

Well, myMr and I have officially been married for 1 year now! Boy, how time flies. It truly seems like just yesterday that we were saying our 'I Dos' in front of all our friends and family. What an amazing year it has been.

So, I have a question for any of my amazing readers that are still out there... do you guys still want me to do recaps of the wedding or are you completely over the Buckinghams?! I would love to continue this blog with everything that has been happening with life after marriage as well as recapping our magical wedding day, but only if there is interest.

So? Do you guys want me back!?

I'm ready for my close up Mr Deville

After I got in my dress, it was time to take pictures by myself. I am not the most comfortable person in front of the camera, so I was a little nervous taking pictures with everyone watching. My photographer was so awesome though... he made me feel super comfortable. I was really pleased with how the pictures came out (and that is saying a lot because I hateeee pictures of myself).

[Oh goodness, this one is a little close]

[I love the color in this one]

[Lookin' outside]

[This is my favorite one]

[Just chillin on the couch]

Are you comfortable in front of the camera by yourself?
