Guestbook Splurge

So, we definitely splurged on our guest book, but I am so glad we did. I considered just buying a simple book that everyone signed their names in, but I knew that a book like that would just collect dust.

Then, I wanted our engagement pictures to be incorporated into the guest book. I knew that it would be the one of the only ways we would be able to display our engagement pictures. So, I contacted the photographer that did our engagement shoot, Aquario Studio.

Way too much money later, we got THIS!

This is just a small taste of it, but it is <3! I am so glad we splurged. I think our guests will have a fun time looking at all of our pictures.

What has been your wedding splurge?

Take care until next time,

This looks great!! My wedding photographer showed this to me and it was LOVE at first site. I'm actually going to do a spin on this idea though... my mom and I came up with two:

1. you can make your own "blurb book" on and get one sent to you. You choose the layout, etc.
2. my mom might purchase the software that it takes to put one of these together. Lucky me, she is dabbling in photography right now, so she thinks this might be something she would like to add to her business.

LOVE this idea though!! Sorry I stalk your blog so much. :)

We did the exact same thing and it turned out great. We had a sign saying, "you memories of, wishes for or advice to Juliana & Geof". The book looks so nice and people wrote some wonderful things.

My big splurge was doing custom lighting. It made the room look so pretty.
