Registering is exhausting...

Man, I suck at titles lately...

Anyway, I don't think I ever blogged about our experience registering!!!

Choosing our first place to register was easy. MyMr and I have been obsessed with Crate and Barrel since we first started dating. We would literally go on dates to Crate and Barrel to pick out appliances for our future house.

So, a little while ago, we decided to start our registry...

2 1/2 hours later, and only a quarter of the way done registering... we were over it. It was so tiring and mentally depleting. How the heck am I supposed to know what color I want our kitchen to be when we don't even know what our kitchen is going to look like?!

Here is a picture of myMr picking out our salt and pepper shakers!! :)

Overall, it went well. We chose some great items, but I am dreading finishing up (we are supposed to this weekend).

Obviously this was taken at the beginning of our trip... we still look enthusiastic! haha :)

I still have no idea where else we should register. I am leaning towards either Macy's or Bed Bath and Beyond... Does anyone have any positive or negative comments toward registering and either of those two places?

Wish us luck this weekend!!! :D

Take care until next time,
hisMrs

loved BB&B--had a terrible experience at the Macy's stores...(both in IL and in CA!)

That's just my experience..but I'd be happy to tell you more (and I blogged about it.

(Plus, if you register at BB&B and mention I referred you...I get a $25 gift card) So if you don't know anyone personally that referred you, i can give you my full name to list as a referral ;-)

then hopefully someday down the road you can suggest it for someone else! :-)

Sorry it was so exhausting for yall. Jason and I had a great time with ours, but we have lived together for 4 years too so we knew the colors of everything we wanted, etc. I would recommend Bed Bath & Beyond. I hear if you get something you don't want, or get two of something, they will give you cash back. = ) Good luck! Have fun with it this time. Don't get so stressed out over the small things.

I did Crate & Barrel, Macy's, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond. ALL were great. LOVED Macy's. BB&B's return policy is WONDERFUL!

I love Crate & Barrel! I am obsessed with C&B now...I'm always picking out appliances I want for my future house! You should register for an ice cream maker! Soooo, good!

How fun. Sorry you didn't have such a great experience registering. I am looking forward to it, sad I know. I prefer Macy's over BB&B for their different products that I just prefer... but I hear BB&B is great for their returns and stuff. Let us know what you decide!

BB&B is definitely great for their return policies but be weary if don't like people pretty much telling you what you need. If you don't mind the internet...which I know you don't, register on there. Their wedding salespeople tend to be a little pushy and tell you NEED things, I think they have quotas, so you might have to do a lot of registry cleaning when you are done.

We registered at Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Macy's. I loved registering at all three because it was a wide variety. BBB is great because people can use coupons. Macy's is great because they typically run these huge sales every other week. All three registries were great experiences! The girl at BBB talked too much. She wanted to give us a tour of the items most couples register for. I think after tapping my toe for 5 minutes she realized I didn't care and just handed the scanner over. That was probably our only issue with registering!

If you still aren't sure you could register at BBB and Macy's to give people lots of options. Good luck!

I'm sorry that your registering experience wasn't the greatest. I've heard HORROR stories with some of my friends registering at Macys'. I've heard good things about Target though....

Bed Bath & Beyond was great. They walked us through everything. It was pretty cool. But it was exhausting too. there is so much to look through and get :) but it's worth it!! at least you wont end up with 20 blenders... hopefully :)
