Nothing Bundt Cakes?!

Last weekend, we did it. MyMr and I looked at wedding cakes.

Now, let me just preface this with the fact that MyMr and I are not the biggest cake fans. We will eat it, but ehh... it is just okay.

We were going to just do something super simple like this:

I mean, not gonna lie, we all know that white chocolate shavings are delish... BUT...

A couple of weeks ago, someone at myMr's work had a birthday. For the birthday celebration, they purchased a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Let me tell you, myMr has not stopped talking about how amazing this cake was. And yes, he doesn't normally like cake!!!

So, of course, we had to check it out for the wedding.

One word for you: OhMyGodThisCakeIsOrgasmicallyDelish!!!

There are several different flavors of cake, all topped with the most delicious icing I have ever had in my life. Seriously, I could just lick the top off the cake.

There are all different sizes as well. I think we will have a variety of cake flavors and sizes just to spice it up a bit! :)

So, it is official, we are going to have a bundt cake for our wedding cake!!! See, it looks like a flower!!! :D

This cake may not be typical and may be a little quirky, but hey so are we!!! :D

Are you a fan of cake?

Take care until next time,
hisMrs

too funny! E and I both don't like cake so much we're not going to serve it even for our guests!

A bundt cake is an interesting route to go. You could try having an ice cream bar.

Very cool. I am not a fan of cake either, so we will probably go really cheap on the cake, not in flavor but price.

I think this is a super cute idea. I think it suits both of you since your both not big fans of cake.

Bundt Cakes...so cute!

I like just about any cake except white...and I really don't care for white frosting.

what a cute cake! bundt cake always makes me think of my big fat greek wedding. "a bababun? bababud cake? butt cake? What is it? I don't know but it has a hole in it...She fixed it!" haha. i hope someone else knows these lines besides me.

that is SO cool! what a perfect solution. i'm not a huge cake fan either. maybe I'll look into that too... :)

That is so neat! It will be something different from what people are used to seeing at weddings. I am glad that you were able to find something that the two of you like instead of giving in and getting a cake when you don't even like cake that much. My future hubby isn't a huge cake fan unless it is Fun-Fetti so I have ordered him a Fun-Fetti grooms cake as a surprise!

That's definitely a unique cake idea. I love wedding cakes that don't fit the class white norm. Honey you are going to have a lovely wedding. Enjoy it with the mister!

Fabulous, just fab-u-lous!

I went to my cousin's wedding last month and noticed her cake was red!! I asked her what it was and she said it was red velvet so I ended up looking up red velvet recipes and found this one http://www.howcast.com/videos/139827-How-To-Make-Red-Velvet-Cake now I am obsessed!! I should try making it into a bundt cake though like you did.
