Napkins

My mom is an amazingly crafty woman. So, since she loves being so crafty, she has decided to take on the task of making napkins for our wedding. Why napkins, you ask?

She has an embroidery machine, so she is going to personalize them! So far all we have found is the fabric, but I thought I would share it with you.

I found the fabric on clearance at a fabric store next to the David's Bridal by my house. I was at David's so I thought I would just browse the fabric store after. It ended up having some really high end fabrics!

The fabric I chose was on clearance for $4.99 a yard, marked down from $9.99. What a steal! Well, here it is. Very shortly, this fabric will be transformed into our napkins!

What do you think?

Are you going to be DIY-ing any odd things?

Take care until next time,
hisMrs

That is such a good idea, do the guest keep their napkins as a favor?

We're DIYing the bouquets (already done), flowergirl baskets and ringbearer pillow.. I can't remember what else.

Your napkins are going to be so unique and gorgeous! I cannot wait to see them when your mom is done!

LOVE the idea! My mom and I are doing a TON of stuff ourselves. Both of us are pretty crafty and into saving some money.

Some of the food that we will be serving will even be from my dad's summer garden. How exciting!

Good idea for the napkins. Do you know what she is doing after she cuts them to make sure the ends don't unravel? I've considered making my own napkins.
