Fifty Dollar Invites

Sorry for leaving you all hanging this past week. Things have been going GREAT at my new job, but I am having to adjust to working full-time and not have all the time in the world to be a good blogger. :)

Well, I promised to share my invites with you... and I will not keep you in suspense any longer!

I had been eyeing a set of invitations at Michael's for the longest time now, but I was too scared to purchase them because I didn't know what the quality would be like. I took my mom to the store with me and she convinced me to buy them!

I am ridiculously surprised with how nice they are!!!! They are normally 39.99 for a set of 30, but I used a 40% off coupon (even though the following week they had a 50% off coupon... ugh) and I got two boxes of them, 60 invites, for $50!!!

Now for the pictures!!!

This is the outside of the envelope. The colors are brown and ivory-ish. I love the hints of damask on the sides!

The envelopes are sealed with these stickers. They are scalloped on the edges. We are considering embossing them with our new last name initial "B."

The front of the envelope is just plain brown. There are sticker labels that we will stick on the front with the addresses on them. We will be printing on them ourselves.

Then, you open up the envelope..

and TA-DA, the envelope turns into our actual invitation!!!

They are complete with a pocket on the side for our RSVP cards and envelopes.

Then, our Thank You cards match!!! These were purchased separately from everything described above, but with the 40% off coupon, they were only $5.99 for 40 Thank you cards!

I am beyond pleased with our choice. I feel like they are so unique, and we just couldn't beat the price. They are about half the price of what it would cost for us to do our DIY invites!

Have you found your invites yet?

Take care until next time,
hisMrs

Your invites are awesome! Other than the fact that you told me I would have never guessed that you bought those from a store! Great find!

LOVING these invites!! What are your wedding colors? I'm using chocolate brown, but I want a crisp white instead of ivory.

What a great find at an awesome price. My mom and I are going to be working on ours soon. We NEED to get the first batch out asap.

I've been tempted to look at buying invitations from Michael's and now I may have to really consider it. Thanks!
